Muthoot Pappachan Group enters into healthcare with Muthoot Lifebrigade Speciality hospital and Orthopaedic centre at Kottayam, Kerala

Kottayam, October 27, 2012: Muthoot Pappachan Group is launching its first ever specialty hospital - Muthoot Lifebrigade Speciality Hospital & Orthopedic Centre, which will be situated at Vadavathoor, along K.K. Road Highway in Kottayam. The facility will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Shri. Oommen Chandy on Nov 3rd, 2012.

Muthoot Lifebrigade Speciality Hospital will offer medical facilities in segments such as general medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, dental, orthopedics and ENT. The hospital will also have a neurology and cardiology centers which will operate as supporting departments. The hospital will engage more than 60 experienced professionals, well trained doctors, and specialists from various medical fields to provide superior medical treatment and best of facilities to the patients.

The hospital has 50 fully air conditioned beds, three operation theatres equipped with arthroscopic facilities, eight bedded ICU equipped with ventilators, facilities for CT Scan, C-ARM, Echocardiogram, Ultrasound scan, TMT, a fully equipped Biochemistry lab and physiotherapy department. Muthoot Lifebrigade Speciality Hospital will conduct continuous community outreach and health camps. The main focus will be basic medical awareness, all body checkups, school students medical screening, etc.

There is a lack of orthopaedic speciality medical centers in Central Travancore, particularly in a city like Kottayam. The primary aim is to fill this gap by giving people the best medical treatment and facilities. Muthoot Lifebrigade will be the first Specialty Hospital and Orthopedic centre in Kottayam. Our goal is to provide outstanding speciality services by adhering to the highest possible professional and ethical standards through this new venture. Due to the ever increasing diabetic patients in Central Travancore, a well planned diabetic center is also being inaugurated with the hospital.
